WHAT IS A SUNDAY LIKE AT FAITH?

We gather to worship God my making his Word prominent. Our services are filled with reading scripture, praying scripture, singing scripture, and preaching scripture. Our goal is that through careful exposition of scripture we can learn to know God and love him more, as we seek to live out our mission of making more and better disciples of Jesus. Join us on Sunday!

WHAT IS A WORSHIP SERVICE LIKE?

A typical worship service lasts around 1 hour and 15 minutes. During this time we will sing songs that celebrate the character of God and the truths of Scripture. We will pray together corporately and also read scripture together. Our pastor will always bring a Bible message from a text of scripture.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Our practice is to preach verse-by-verse from a passage of Scripture, so a Bible will help you see what God says. If you do not own a Bible, we have one for you. Feel free to take it with you so that you can read during the week!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Something comfortable! You will find people at our church in various styles of dress. Some wear dress clothes, others wear blue jeans. Our pastor usually dresses in a business casual manner. There is no dress code!

WHERE DO I GO?

When you arrive in the parking lot you will want to look for the main auditorium entrance with double glass doors. These doors lead to our foyer, where you will be greeted by someone from our greeting team. Continue straight ahead to the auditorium or ask an usher where to find one of our age-appropriate children’s classes!

WHAT IS YOUR MUSIC STYLE?

We have a blended style of worship. We appreciate traditional hymns of the faith from which we can learn doctrinal truth. We also appreciate newer and contemporary music which points us to God in our modern context. Most services contain a mix of hymns and modern songs.

WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN?

WHAT PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR KIDS?

Children’s Sunday school classes are available every Sunday morning starting at 9 am. We value children in our service! During the service time we offer kid’s bags at the back of the auditorium filled with books to read, coloring pages, and fidget toys for kids to use during the service; these can be returned after the service and used again in the future. An “on-call” nursery is available and workers can be available as needed.

HOW DO YOU KEEP KIDS SAFE?

We take our ministry to children very seriously! We do criminal background checks on all workers serving in our kid’s programs and all workers have mandated training provided to them regularly.

CAN MY CHILD STAY IN THE WORSHIP SERVICE?

Absolutely! We are not put off by the noise of children in the service and recognize that as the sound of life. We provide kid’s bags at the back of the auditorium filled with books to read, coloring pages, and fidget toys. Our pastor also provides a weekly children’s worksheet with blanks to fill in and pictures to draw that go along with the morning sermon.
